I was trained for taking calls for the service desk for 13 clients by staring over peoples' shoulders for a week while they took calls. When Novartis was added to the list of clients which I had to take, I was given 2 weeks training, which I was thankful for. When Novartis was added to the list of clients assigned to me, although they made sure that all my tools for Novartis were working while I was training, they had taken all my tools for Novartis and given them to someone else.

I was taking calls from some of the most hateful people who I have had the displeasure to deal with without so much as the ticketing system, so that I couldn't even write requests for someone else to perform the necessary tasks.

For the first month of my taking calls for any other project, I had nothing except for the ticketing system, though I had put in requests for the necessary tools. The job is cake; it is an easy job that you only need a modicum of technical knowledge and the tools to do. I was actively seeking a different job immediately after they took my tools for Novartis away, so I didn't put in a request that they give me tools again.
