I had a great experience at Siskin with everyone I encountered but Dr. Lorena Ferreira. In my opinion she diagnosed my daughter incorrectly. She was very impersonal, and even in reading the final note from the last visit that she dictated a lot of the information she wrote in the note was incorrect. She also sent my daughter to several therapies (at other locations) which doesn't make sense to me at all because all of these therapies are done at Siskin. I wrote her a message questioning this which she has yet to respond even days later. She also wrote in her note that she will be performing a Fragile X and a genetic test both of which I never agreed with and do not want performed on my child. I do not recommend this provider, as she does everything as if she were a robot with absolutely no bed side manner or personality. She only does this for a paycheck clearly and doesn't care about misdiagnosing children. The only way that I would consider returning here is if I get switched to another provider that actually listens and cares about children with "special needs".
