I really wanted to love my experience here, becaus...

I really wanted to love my experience here, because of the organiations values, but those values don t make up for the misery that was this simple appointment. Also, it was no cheaper than self paying at my regular OB. My appt was at 11:15, I arrived at 11 to find out they had given the wrong information on how I could pay when I scheduled. I ended up needing to go to the bank to withdrawal cash to pay them (despite the fact that they were adamant on the phone they wouldn t accept cash, which was my preferred method of payment anyway). No one apologized or even acknowledged their error, or really showed any compassion at all.I was supposed to go to work after my appt, and at 1 PM when I tearfully asked the front desk woman how much longer I would have to wait the pink haired girl started to attempt to nicely help, but then the woman standing behind her began talking over her to rudely and agggressively let me know they would call me back next so I could wait in the back. When I tried to explain that I needed to get to work (at this point I was literally on the verge of tears and shaking), she would not let me speak and again loudly and rudely informed me they would take to me next. None of the front desk staff showed any compassion for the fact that I was visibly and obviously upset and had been with waiting for hours. There was only one other person waiting, so I really don t understand what the issue is, but I know I surely won t be driving an hour again to deal with this, and it is 100% due to the rudeness and uncaring attitudes of the front desk staff. The staff member who took my vitals and the nurse practitioner were the only people who seemed to care, but that doesn t make up in anyway for the attitudes of the other employees.
