Global Village is supposed to be a family destination for culture, entertainment, shopping and dining from different countries across the globe. However, it is 80% shopping which reduces its attraction. Only a handful pavilions have cultural or entertainment programs. Moreover almost half of the countries are from the gulf which is a sort of repetition. Take this, entire Europe is contained in just one pavilion when there are separate pavilions for small countries like Yemen, Kuwait, etc. Prices were, as expected, sky rocket. Two things I liked most - the decoration on each pavilion and the fireworks. Overall, one can easily skip Global Village from the itinerary in case of time crunch.
