Review of Hop on hop off/ Westcoast Sigh...

I used the hop on hop off with a visitor on June 6...

I used the hop on hop off with a visitor on June 6th 2019.
Bus 1 - the seats were abysmal, some even dropped/sagged/fell backwards when people sat in them. The PA system was about half a stop behind where the bus actually was, so it sometimes made no sense (park route, 12:50).
Bus 2 - PA system kept fading in and out, from deafening to not being able to hear anything (city route, around 2:45)
Bus 3 - PA system broken (as we overheard about 10 minutes into the ride), the driver did not even stop at a number of the stops on the route - we ended up 3 stops further than we wanted before getting his attention and pointing it out to him, nor did he slow down for any of the sights (last pick up from Mariott, park route). The seats were also terrible, but not quite as bad as on the first bus.

A very expensive and disappointing experience. If you are going to charge $59 per person, then make sure you have buses in decent condition, PA systems which work, and drivers who care.
