I've never been to a luau before. I was decently excited...But I've got to say that this could not possibly have exceeded my expectations any more. Chief is hilarious, the dancers are amazing (especially the skinny guy..he was hilarious to watch...the facial expressions and all). The hula dancers were beautiful. My dad says the dancers at the Polynesian cultural center seemed a little more polished, but the dancers here (especially the guys)...Well I'll just say that if they don't have their hearts in it 100%, then they're some of the best actors I've ever seen. The fire performance at the end was possibly one of the coolest things I've ever seen in person. I don't know if I'll ever have an opportunity to come to HI again, but if I do, I'm definitely coming back to this luau.
