Jeffery Brown, may 24 interview with Hope Jahren on her book, The Lab Girl, during the PBS News Hour.
This was a fantastic and inspiring discussion. Hope was genuine, totally excited with her life of learning and her work as a woman in science and the juxtaposition of the two. Jeffery Brown as always did a wonderful interview. He listens deeply and asks insightful questions that draw out the best of his partner in the discussion.. That made them connect and drew out the power of her understanding and joy in her life as a women born in Science and wanting to share its beauty and power. I am a lifelong educator and i am going to order the book immediately. thanks for the fine work you do every day, PBS and KCTS.
