Easily one of the highlights for our kids on our trip when we visited Edinburgh. Probably takes 45 to 90 minutes to make your way through the exhibits...kids won't want to stop at each exhibit and some of the exhibits are variations on a similar theme, so spending more than a few minutes per concept was a tough "ask" for our kids. The show at the top with the camera was very well done. Stand up on the upper level to watch the show, and you'll get glorious air conditioning from the vents behind and above you! The mirror maze and the mind boggling rotating light display tube were the real attraction for our kids...they maybe went on them three or four times each. Tickets are good for the day, so you can come and go if you want a break or to see the castle/shop in between or if it gets too crowded.
