This museum was definitely a discovery, it not only shows the terrible tragedy of extermination but manages to bring it back to life.
Free as the other Smithsonian museums, the Holocaust Memorial Museum manages to describe everything in every detail, through the use of different historical finds, images and videos, in an overwhelming and engaging way. It's true, it's raw, it's essential not to forget.
