Ray Zirpolo, the owner, threaten to cancel my membership because my children were playing and screaming in the women's locker shower. He was so rude and disrespectful. He screamed at me and wagged his finger in my face in front of my 3 children as if I was a child. He needs a course on good customer service and people skills. It is unrealistic to think that children should not play in his establishment. This is what children do. Then he screamed at me for having my 4 year old son in the women's locker room so I suggested for him to provide a family bathroom. He told me rudely that this is his business and I should not tell him how to run his business. Let's see how much longer his business will last with that attitude. Karma is real. I hope lots of members will follow my example and get the heck out of there. He expects our children to wash off and get dressed with no privacy in front of people sitting there or waiting in line for the one shower on the pool deck. This is distasteful and disgraceful. He is suppose to provide unisex family bathrooms. I mentioned to him that it is not fair for children to be lined up after coming out of the pool and trembling from the cold to wait for one shower, which is not even a shower because it does not have a door and there is no privacy. With a line waiting, there is no time for you to even dress your child(ren). The only other option is to send our 4 year old children into a bathroom unsupervised. He expects me to have my 4 year old son go into a bathroom with grown strange men to shower and get dressed by himself. Apparently he cares nothing about the people he serves and only wants our money. I now realize why there are not many African Americans members at his gym, not even staff. The one African I see is the maintenance man. No wonder he thinks he can speak to me the way he did. He spoke to me as if I was his slave.
