i was driving eastbound on i-80, in the left lane....

i was driving eastbound on i-80, in the left lane. this companies semi was far ahead, holding up the left lane, but since my exit was coming up, i turned on my turn signal and got into the right lane. this semi suddenly decided to get into the right lane also. they turned on their turn signal and forced their way in. i had to go onto the shoulder and honked my horn at them continuously. they honked their horn back at me acknowledging that they were running me off the road. at one point i was fully all 4 wheels on the shoulder. i immediately called 911, and was forwarded to iowa state patrol. i told them the license plate number and the company. since this company is a foreign company, when i call customer service, i can t make out what they re saying. i called the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, left a message explaining what happened. this incident was completely unprovoked. no road rage. nothing. imagine what this companies drivers are capable of when the situation of possible road rage actually happens.
