First of all, I am a 70 yr. old very good skier. I live in the SF. bay area where there are plenty of good surgeons. I interviewed a total of eight surgeons including Dr. Jones. He was the only one that made sense to me. He recommended a bone growth knee replacement instead of a cemented one (all the other surgeons recommended cement). He explains that the cement would fail if I continued to ski aggressively. He treats a lot of skiers being as that he is in Reno. He also told me that he does a lot of revisions (fixes other surgeons failures). Because of this I chose him even though he practices 175 miles from my home. His staff is wonderful. They really took care of me. Marley was exceptional. The place where the surgery took place was amazingly good. I skied 6 months after the surgery. I got 25 day in this season skiing steep bumps and deep powder. Thank you very much Dr. Jones and staff. Ernie Lavorini DDS.
