Horrible sales team!!! I went to Baton Rouge Harley to test ride a 2018 Softail. I was not allowed a test ride. The Salesman seamed to be off in space and not paying attention to the conversation we were having. I told him I wanted to trade a Breakout and a Sportster 48. He said if I had the VIN he could get me a trade value for both bikes. After I gave the VIN he told me to wait. After 20 minutes I left the dealership with no trade values. The following day they want to come pick up my bikes. NO TRADE VALUES NO PRICE AND NO DECISION FROM MYSELF TO PURCHASE. I have 25 poker chips from dealerships all over America and have had every dealer beg me to test ride a new Harley ( I refuse most of the time cause if I ride it I buy it). THIS IS THE ONLY DEALER THAT HAS EVER REFUSED TO ALLOW ME A TEST RIDE. The Sales team should educate themselves before they approach a customer. Sad when the customers know more about the new bikes than the sales person. SALES TEAM NOTE ( YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE 2018 SPECS ON HARLEY DAVIDSONS WEBSITE) These people just want you to walk in and buy the bike they were absolutely USELESS!!! when it comes to educating the consumer about new products. In the last 2 years I have purchased I a Street Glide, Breakout and a Sportster. My Brother has Purchased a Road Glide and a Street Bob. We will stick with Cajun Harley Davidson in Lafayette and Taboo in Alexandria!!! So far this has been the worst dealer experience I have had. Every time I walk in this place they have new sales people. If you look online you will see a lot of non Harley riders talking about the Bad Attitude of Harley dealers. NOTE TO CORPORATE ( If you want to sale bikes to people make sure your dealers assist customers. They should send corporate people to pose as customers and see the truth about what is killing Harley Sales!!! The Best Bikes in the world won't sale with poor service. This place is like an shady auto dealer. You get jumped on as soon as you get in the door by someone who has no clue what he is doing and if the conversation gets close to a purchase they bring over the sales manager. I just simply want to purchase a bike without getting the run around. (((Here is my 1 year update : Shortly after writing this I purchased a 2018 Heritage 114 from Cajun Harley Davidson!!! I have since installed many upgrades including the tour pack and Stage 2 Power Cam. This bike is really fun now nimble and a blast to ride. The only problem is getting traction!!! ))) ((( I just purchased a 2019 Street Glide Special again from Cajun Harley Davidson!!! I have installed $4000 in upgrades already including lowers, Bars, Grips, Stage 2 Torque Cam and too many other items to list. This bike is still in the break in period so I can not comment on the cam results yet other than the 114 pulls very well at low rpm. A huge improvement over my 2015 Street Glide Special that I traded in. This is now my 5th Harley. First one was a 2013 Breakout from Bayou Country Harley. I got a pretty got deal on that bike but I have since not been able to get anywhere close to a reasonable price from them on my next 4 bikes. It was $9000 difference on my Heritage. Since then all 4 bikes I purchased were from Cajun Harley Davidson. a 2013 Sportster 48 ( Awesome Bike Very Fun ). A 2015 Street Glide ( Great Bike I put over 35,000 miles all over the rocky mountains on this bike) My 2018 Heritage and my 2019 Street Glide Special that I still have. While I tried to work with Baton Rouge Harley thinking they have a great inventory and being from a larger city they should be a volume dealer things just haven't worked out that way. Your results may vary do your own research. I always look around before I purchase and you should too. I am even open to the new Indian Chieftains. They have much better ride quality than my Street Glide. If indian offered better trade values on used Harley's thats what I would be riding now. Time for a frame upgrade Harley!!!
