I called ADT today TO GIVE NOTICE that I would no longer require their services after the end of my contract June 1, 2020. I was told me to call May 31st to cancel or I would be charged for breach of contract even though I was paying to the end of my contract. They would not accept cancellation before May 31st. I would think twice before using ADT. I have been paying for 11 years.
I am unsure how I could be in breach of my contract when I am paying to the end of it. I WILL BE FORCED TO CALL AGAIN, WAIT ON HOLD AGAIN AND GO THROUGH THIS ALL AGAIN. I GUESS THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GOOD CUSTOMER OR CUSTOMER SERVICE
