I hired Carolina Green to complete a horse barn project. I was promised a start to finish time of 3 weeks. At 8 weeks I had finally had enough and fired them. My building is 5" out of square, 2" out of level and my 12 year old child could have poured concrete better than these guys. In the last week my phone calls were ignored, text messages unanswered and the barn was still not dried in. They had ordered metal for the roof that was too short and tried to cover it up to keep from absorbing the cost of new metal. When I called a meeting with Robbie Sutton and Perry Lewis (owners) I heard nothing but BS and excuses and when I terminated them they immediately went to the county inspector, lied to their office and tried to force a cease work order on the project. Lo and behold, they had pulled the permit but had not called for a single inspection during construction that then had the new contractor and myself scrambling to correct the problem. When it was all said and done I had a $60,000 project that was nowhere near complete that needed to be bulldozed to the ground and done over from the ground up. I don't know how on Earth these guys are in still in business doing this type of shoddy work. Don't walk, RUN, from these guys. They have no business with a contractor's license.
