I went to an specialist few months ago. The doctor (20 years of experience in urology) didn't even touch the allergy he only looked at it and compared pictures on google to see what it was. He only gave me a prescription lotion for the inflammation. After that I went to another specialist witch said it was an allergy and gave me the correct treatment . After that, I received the statement from Physicians of around $320 against Mercy around $120. They were not nice when answering questions, they say that they are charging me for what the doctor did: witch was not checking records (since I am an international student) and only checking online what it could be. As the insurance administrator told me "they can charge you what they want and nobody regulates how or why".
