Highly unprofessional billing. I went to the hospital in April, and it's June, and they have no record of my bill yet. Insurance told me what I would owe EPPA in May.
Last year, the bill came 4 months after a different hospital visit. Their billing team told me to fight the charge with insurance, twice, and then sent me to collections. I only received one mailed bill from them.
Someone in government and healthcare needs to fix this for us in Minnesota. Nobody ever warns you in the hospital that you will get a separate physician bill. The costs are enough to avoid the hospital and urgent care altogether.
