The fire happend on 2/27/20 during Peak of COVID. After the house fire Homelink corp showed up. Not sure who sent them. First I stayed at the hotel - which was ok. Then, I was told to move out of hotel to housing provided by Homelink. I had to apply for the rent and was offered only 2 rental options. Rental options did not match my current living level. In addition I was placed in a former "meth" townhouse ( find out from the neighboors). The townhouse had odor that caused headaches, insomnia and irritation. Air conditioning was not working, windows broken, drug sellers were standing in front of the house. I was not able to live there and had to move out. Homelink corp charged my insurance $ 19,944.80 +for 4 month rent and $ 15,529.19 for furniture rent. Me as the fire victim received $0 as living expenses. Instead of recovering from house fire I was again traumatized and victimized by homelink corp. Incident is reported to AG, BBB, Department of insurance. Many citizens don't know their rights , therefore are abused and victimized by companies like Homelink corp. This company will take all your money from insurance + money upfront. If you see the name Homelink corp, CRDN - be aware they are only after the insurance money. Be aware - this company is absolute fraud.
