We greatly appreciate the flexibility and variety of course options through FLVS. My daughter has taken both core and elective classes through the HS Flex program. The teachers are great, and offer one-on-one help when needed. The Flex program can be used for one class or all of high school. Be aware that you will need to arrange for standardized testing through your school district, and it helps to have structured outside activities so the students don't feel isolated. FLVS does offer clubs and social gatherings (even trips abroad!) but we did not try any of those, mainly due to our own time constraints. We recommend checking into FLVS for one or more courses. The flexibility can't be beat!
