I ve stayed there for a week and it s not extremely terrible but the staff doesn t care about what your going through, any chance they get they ll send you right back to where you came from. I made extremely great friends there. The kids that come in aren't bad kids, their kids that just need and want help escaping a terrible life. No kid should have to be sent to a place they feel unsafe or unwelcome and that s exactly what they do. They don t care about what we say has happened or anything it s because we re kids and that s all they see us as they don t see us as having problems they see us as kids that are bad and need to be sent away for a while. I will say my counselor Teresa was probably the only worker that seemed like she cared about me and what i was going through and she was the only one who help me get somewhere safe and where i m happy. But, all of the other staff doesn t deserve a job there because they don t care and don t know how to help kids who are going through more than they would understand.
