I have been with ADT for 3 years both for my residential and commercial addresses. I was totally unsatisfied with their performance. Due to a malfunction in one of the sensors installed in my commercial property the alarm went off (without a cause) for multiple times during mid night hours and although ADT was aware that this is due to a faulty sensor, they dispatched police without obtaining my consent for multiple times. I was charged
approximately 1000$ for police dispatching while it should never happened. When I initiated a dispute, I did not receive any feedback. Ultimately without any resolution to my disputes they sent my balance due amount to a collection company. It was exactly the time when covid 19 started (March 15) and all businesses were suffering.
I ended up paying the balance due and 450$ cancellation fee for cancelling my both accounts.
