My daughter attended Holy Family Catholic Academy ...

My daughter attended Holy Family Catholic Academy for 1st-8th Grades. She loved it! The teachers were caring and provided an excellent education. In addition to academics, the students are taught to treat all people with respect and yes, religion is a required course, although the student doesn't have to be Catholic to attend the school. Because of the smaller class sizes, the students get to know each other well and form lifetime friendships, especially those who go to school together for several years. Students in the higher grades are expected to complete "community service" hours, such as helping out at the library, volunteering at the Fall Festival, etc. HFCA doesn't just educate the mind, but helps students to grow into responsible citizens who are active in their communities. My daughter is in 10th grade now at Mililani High School. Academically, she was able to take some sophomore level classes (math and science) her freshman year because she'd already covered typical 9th grade curriculum by 8th grade at HFCA. HFCA helps students to become leaders too. My daughter was elected to her class's Student Council beginning in 10th grade. At HFCA, she learned to get involved and make a difference in the world. I'm proud of her and her achievements, and I know that HFCA gave her the foundation to do great things.
