Initially I had a great experience with Anya Bridal and was assisted and found my dress quickly. However, this one star is because I was lied to after the purchase of my dress. I went last Wednesday to pick up my dress and while trying it on my mom noticed that it was slightly ripped in the back. The dress didn t have a rip when I first purchased it (the proof is in the pictures and video from the day of purchase). I bring it to the manager s attention and I m told that sales are typically as is, but this one time they will correct the error.(after seeing the pics) They kept my dress for an additional week to fix it. I picked my dress up today assuming that their word was kept. I came immediately to my alterations lady, unzip the dress and see that it s in the same condition it was in last week. What was the purpose of being dishonest? Why keep my dress an additional week to not make any promised repairs. Due to my wedding date, I don t have time to battle them about this issue, but just beware of their shady business practices!!! Also, while getting alterations I was told several horror stories of negative experiences there.
