We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was for the price. The staff is extremely friendly from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The location was great! Far enough from the noise of Times Square but just a short walk to the fun and, in the other direction, to Central Park. Be prepared for their new practice of charging a $25 service fee per night that can be used at their restaurant, club lounge (if you re a member) or on a few other amenities. If you don t use the credit you lose it. This was not disclosed when I booked with Expedia so I wasn t too happy to find out upon check in. Not to mention the restaurant wasn t great other than the $32 breakfast. Who wants to feel like they need to use their credit when the city has far better places to spend $25 at?
Rooms were smallish but clean and tidy. Do not let your kids touch the refreshment bar unless you don t mind paying $9 for a single size Pringles chips.
Overall a good experience and I would go back.
