Massive, well-maintained zoo. Highly worthwhile spending a day (or two) here. We were underwhelmed by the PANDAS, given the long lineups. But we loved the BONOBOS and ORANGUTANS both of which were incredibly lively exhibits without any lineups.

Take the bus tour first thing upon arrival to get a sense of the scale and layout. Also worth taking to gondola if your pass includes it in your stay. The food is OK but it s best to bring some healthy snacks and water you ll need the energy and hydration given all of the walking you will do.
