Holland must visit if you are here between Mar and May. A riot of Colors. Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinth and lots more flower bulbs. Mesmerizing. Don't forget to order bulbs - they ship the order.
Best time to visit is start of the day - 8 AM. If you can do on a weekday, better. Gets crowded and sunny later in the day. Be ready to walk 5 km or more. Worth it.
They have inexpensive and convenient bus service from Amsterdam, Schiphol, Hoofddorp, Haarlem etc. But tickets can't be bought in the bus. Do buy online or at ticket counter and then board.
