The recent updates are nice, and you can tell it is an older building. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the restaurant and the pool. I was disappointed that the free shuttle could take me to my conference in downtown Grand Rapids, but that it didn't start running until after I needed to be there. My room was clean, my bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.
