You can see their employees or owner fighting with people in in the reviews. This tells you everything you need to know about Peak. Terribly maintained buildings - confirmed with the rest of the reviews below. If they do respond to a maintenance request, they fix things poorly - fixtures not matching, incorrect knobs, leaks persist, etc. A high school shop class would do a better job. I can't imagine that they are having licensed professionals working on these buildings.
Once my power went out and they refused to help and told me it was my responsibility to talk to the power company, who showed up and was shocked at how big of a mess the wires in the basement were and pointed out that peak had labeled the building wrong causing the shutoff. They put in a fridge that doesn't fit in my kitchen so you have to open it just to pull a drawer out and never responded when I called it out. Rocks fall through my ceiling and windows. They refused to clean my unit before I moved in because I asked them not to paint the walls
If they ever do respond, they are short and rude. Sharron Healy refuses to answer tenants. Wont pick up the phone or call back. If she responds in any way, shes short and rude (again confirming other comments). Yesterday I talked to a city employee outside my building asking for help because she/Peak hung up on him and wont answer the phone.
I've politely asked them to let me out of my lease a month early, pointing out that they could do their maintenance sooner and make more money off the unit, since they were going to raise the rent anyway. They refused, even when I offered to help walk through the unit and point out what needed to be fixed.
I look forward to "Mike Z here" either saying this wasn't true or that he's sorry for my experience and that they care about their tenants.
