Martin Luther King, Jr. was a hero and coming here to this place in the neighborhood he grew up in was very moving. I had already known of him and the courageous work that he and his wife did but I learned even more walking through the installations they have about various events and the climate during that time. Btw, Coretta Scott King was nothing short of amazing herself. I highly recommend going there and learning about an extremely important part of American history that was not that long ago. We should always remember the sacrifices that he and so many others made so that we could have the freedoms we have now. Definitely visit Ebnezer Baptist Church across the street. It looks exactly the same. I sat there in the front row imagining him on that pulpit, advocating for justice through non violent means and yes, this review is long but the experience stays with you long after you drive away.
