This palace built by the Maharaja of Tehri Garhwal in 1910. Narendra Nagar was the summer capital and the Palace, where the official residence. From here the amazing views of the Himalayas and the river Ganga. Many of the world's prestigious guests have come to this palace. Original relief work still adorns the palace walls and two magnificent World War I cannons flank the royal gateway. Today, this palace use as 'Spa' named as "Ananda - In the Himalayas". This was India's first destination spa. Maharaja Narendra Shah also constructed other several buildings that are still in use as hospital and secretariat.
