Interesting place to look at Coca-Cola memorabilia...

Interesting place to look at Coca-Cola memorabilia and learn some interesting facts about Coke's history, although I must emphasize that its Coca-Cola, Inc. telling the story and their view of history is, to say the least, a twee bit selective. You won't find much on the life of John Pemberton, the druggist who formulated Coke, his brief time in the Confederate Army, his brief addiction to morphine after suffering wounds, his career as a druggist, how the early formula was based off coca wine, or other interesting but less savory facts of this famous soft drink. There is a pretty neat wing devoted to the infamous "New Coke" crisis, as well as theater where you can watch commercials from around the world and different time periods. And of course there is the tasting room. Everything else is commercial garbage, including the price of admission and the mandatory (I'll say that again, MANDATORY) viewing of Moments of Happiness in the Coke Theatre. Oh yeah, and you only get one free bottle of coke. They make more coke in this one little factory then they actually need, but still, you only get ONE FREE SAMPLE PER PERSON. Why not two? Or even three? They end each day with tons of unused bottles.
