Recently returned home from an Over 50 Hiking the Greek Islands trip. I have to say, it was absolutely spectacular. Our Adventures Abroad guide, Sama, was the epitome of knowledge, class, and patience. I'm sure it's not easy guiding and herding 16 very different personalities and abilities through the rocky terrain and very chaotic ferry system in Greece, but she did it with ease. I cannot express how much respect I have for this young woman.

The sights were incredible, the food magnificent (we ate like royalty), and the accommodations more than adequate. The local guides were charming and very knowledgeable. I have to emphasize, however, that this is not mall-walking. The terrain is mountainous; therefore, at times steep. Sooo many stairs! But no one was ever left behind, and there was always time to stop and take photos, smell the roses, and ask questions. In a word, it was magnificent. I will definitely be doing another Adventures Abroad tour. Worth every penny.
