Terra Phelps Review of TechWise Group

Rather than do what was best for our business, Techwise did what was best for theirs.
Microsoft does not stand behind their Gold Partners' actions or ramifications.
Techwise was referred to me via Microsoft as I had inquired about a software to help our company run more efficiently. They are a Microsoft Gold Partner, which from my research just means they are essentially an advocate/subcontractor for Microsoft products.
Long story short, in hindsight, trusting Microsoft's Gold Partner cost me $3,946.20 in a system I couldn't use and services that made our business less efficient.
When they rolled out our plan, they did not provide final training (although they offered once we were dissatisfied). This training was supposed to be included (per our contract). They also blamed our issues on lack of knowledge of the program. During their training of the product, they found several functional issues of the program, but never got back to us on when or whether or not the issues were resolved.
They also rolled out the program with several glitches and when I inquired about the program issues it took them nearly a week to return my email which left us frustrated and confused.
Techwise did not offer any remediation other than additional services or training after selling us about $4,000 in products that sent our small business backwards.
I will say, some of their team members are highly-charismatic and a pleasure to work with during the process.
Lauren, the salesperson was phenomenal at selling, but when we addressed our grievances several times she had nothing to say.
As soon as we were transitioned away from Techwise, I was able to move back to our former processes and undo some of the long-term expenses they incurred for us through unnecessary subscriptions.
Per guidance from TechWise, from Feb-June, I incurred an additional $1,171.20 just in Dynamics Subscriptions not including our hours invested in planning, meetings, and setup with TechWise.
If you add in the services rendered to set up the Dynamics system, there's an additional $2,775.00
As a small business, this cost is no small pill to swallow.
Ultimately, had they listened to my issues from the start and actually looked into the current systems in place (Insightly only $144 per year), which I provided them access and mentioned to them multiple times, they could have saved me tons of time, effort and money. They had six people on one phone call in the beginning and no one looked into our current system.
