KRIS REED Review of Austin Area OBGYN; Dr. Christo...
Well . . . This review is a LONG TIME COMING . . ....
Well . . . This review is a LONG TIME COMING . . . I wish there were 10 stars up there . . .
I don't have Facebook, have never Blogged, don't know how to Tweet the birdie, or Instagram and I totally detest smart phones! I call them fart phones!
In 1998 I was 45, very sick and we were totally new to the Austin area. I asked just about every woman I came into contact with . . who is the best OBGYN? The whites of my eyes were yellow, my skin was yellow, I was weak and tired all the time, I had severe pain in my abdomen that was especially excruciating when I bent over . . . Wost of all . . . I had barely been able to urinate for the last 7 years. I looked and felt TERRIBLE 24/7 . All I could do is tinkle . . . After hearing Dr. Seeker's name several times I finally had time to call his office and KATHY answered. I asked if I could make an appt with Dr. Seeker and she said he didnt have an opening for 2 years. What I said next was not so that she would feel sorry for me or to get in sooner . . . I was as serious and real as could be and it just came out . . . I said, "Kathy, I don't believe I will be alive in 2 years." I truly meant it because I felt and looked so sick, I thought that I would not live that long. It wasn't like I wasn't trying . . . I had seen 6 other HIGHLY RECCOMENDED big time specialist in other Cities and even other States . Kathy asked me some pertanent questions about what was wrong, put me on hold and came back with an appt to see Dr. Seeker in a couple of days. I was so grateful and so relieved, you who are reading this have no idea! When I hung up all I could do was cry . . . When I went to my appt that week the first thing I noticed was Dr. Seeker's ORAH surrounding him. I kid you not and I'm not crazy. . . It was so clear and so evident . . . I knew WHO had sent me to him. . . Some people can see the orah of others and some cannot . .
After my exam he said "so none of the other 6 Doctors you've seen gave you an ultrasound?" I said "no." He was quite perplexed as to why they didnt care enough to find out what was making me so sick . . . When he explained to me what he found, I was so relieved that . . even though I needed surgery . . I finally had a light at the end of the tunnel! YAY! I was going to feel better and PEE! I just cried . . . Terrisa scheduled me for surgery the very next Friday. My surgery was going to be laparoscopic, take 1.5 hours and I would go home . . .Easy breezy .. . So without going into all the details of what happened during my surgery I can tell you this - When I got there . . .
I was an outpatient with one surgeon. Before the surgery started I had 2 surgeons, before it was over I ended up with 3 surgeons, in surgery for 5 to 5.5 hours and spent about 8 days in the hospital. No need for all the details, but what I want you to know is Dr. Seeker SAVED MY LIFE! I was sooooo soooo sooo sick - One surgeon said during operation . . . "This girl is heading for renal failure, how has she been walking the living?" That was in 1998 and since then he has saved my life in May of 2013 and AGAIN in Oct 2016! I had many other surgeries with him after that and he reccomended all of my other Doctors that I hold in high esteme as well. He is the kindest, most caring, SUPER SMART, genuine, charismatic person I have ever had the privilege to meet or know. I had a wonderful anethesiologist druring that aperation and continued to request him for many many other surgeries after that until he moved away. I am now 63 and go to see Dr. Seeker every 6 months for the rest of my life. I feel as though Dr Seeker is one of my best friends. I always tell him he's my Angel. I know he was sent to me from God, and he truely is my Angel. He will always make you feel like they are his ONLY patient . . Make an appt with him . . . You will never forget this review . . . Go before he retires . . .
Sorry my review took so long . . . Thanks for listening . . . Kristin
