Maybe I'm just spoiled as a Marriott Platinum P......

Maybe I'm just spoiled as a Marriott Platinum P... (whatever they're calling the 75 night level these days), but I expected better than a room that had a TV that was several degrees from horizontal, and was strategically placed next to the dumpster, ice machine, and (apparently) the employee break room. Also no lounge, despite what the web site says, and no breakfast for elites other than the mediocre $23 buffet.
