What an amazing place! We visited on Bristol open doors day and so glad we did. The space behind the stage is huge and hides the scenery production. They have a rolling screen so the artists don't have to go up and down ladders, only one of four in the country. There's also a sound effects exhibition and the new more intimate Studio theatre. There's also a decent reasonably priced restaurant. A wonderful historical, fascinating building.
