Ty Warren Review of Rice-Eccles Stadium

Coming to Rice Eccles see the Utes play has become a family tradition. There is nothing better than taking the TRAX Red Line up to the stadium on game day and hearing the Utes fight song & "Utah Man Am I" start playing as you round the hill to pull up in front of the stadium. Waking up the front steps to the concourse and smelling the glorious smells coming from the grossly overpriced concession stands never gets old.
The new south endzone expansion is massive & truly impressive. It has taken Rice Eccles to an entirely different level, and we can't wait to see it finished.
Our only "complaint" about the stadium would be how cramped the North End Zone corridor can get during games, but it borders the street & TRAX line, so I'm not sure what else they can do to expand it that wouldn't be exorbitantly expensive. We would also like to see the corner video boards upgraded at some point in the future as they are hard to see if you're not sitting on that side.
Other than those recommendations, the stadium is hard to beat and is an incredible place to catch a game. The views of city from on top of the hill are incredible as well. It's come a long ways since the days of Rice Stadium. Keep up the work Mark Harlan & co. Go Utes!!!
