Had our electric cooktop and wall oven stop workin...
Had our electric cooktop and wall oven stop working. Called and they came out. I liked our technician. He said we would need to run new wires to the individual units (cooktop and wall double oven) because whoever wired it initially "pig tailed" the cooktop into the wall oven wires. He rewired the units and revamped our breaker box. $1400.00 worth of work because their "employees are better trained and experienced than other electricians." Well we threw the wall oven in the trash and gratefully had the sanitation company haul it off. We left the cooktop in place. while our guy was finishing up he suggested a surge protector to "condition the electricity and protect against any future power surges." I bought it for another $1200.00. Anyone else buy one of these?
Anyway the next day we ran out of hot water because he took the power away from our hot water tank. Called and took them two days to come back out and fix it. While he was there my wife asked him to reconnect the cooktop to see if it would work since he rewired it two days earlier. He did and it worked! Then he asked her...didn't I test the wall oven after I rewired it? She replied no and then got sick to her stomach as it dawned on her that we could of saved ourselves the purchase of another wall oven!
A#1 Air contacted us and asked how can they make our experience better.
I was impressed with the customer satisfaction and grateful they were willing to come back out again and "make it right."
I would recommend A#1 Air to anyone.
