My friend bought a bed from a company that was bought by Fusion Designs. The bed was manufactured with a defect, some screw holes were very close to the edge of a piece of wood causing the wood to split. Because the bed was originally assembled by the retailer, none of this was discovered until we moved the bed.

The retailer went out of business and the manufacturer was bought by Fusion Designs who inherits the liabilities of the company they bought.

Fusion Designs has offered a free repair but not without my friend paying for shipping both ways. Shipping a bed foot is somewhere around 60$ each way.

The furniture looks good on the web site but don't expect good quality customer service.
