I took my car to the Geico office located within their service shop after a teenager ran a red light and hit me in August 2017. I was given an estimate, told it could be repaired by their "Certified GMC" mechanics and repair shop. When I got the car back, the headlight that was cracked in the wreck was only buffed out, not replaced as stated in the estimate. The hood is crooked, there is still a pinch in my front fender that wasn't even touched, and they put enough wax on it that it was still greasy. The grill was NOT chrome as previously had been on my vehicle, and the estimate stated CHROME GRILL. The front chrome piece on the hood sat up so high that you could see the foam pieces underneath it. So Wayne says to take the car. He will call us as soon as the right parts are in. Everyone leaves, and my husband and I start the car up.... the check engine light was on! It stated in the estimate they were to do 1 hour of checking the mechanics out. Guess they scammed Geico for that part of the estimate, too. I had to take it to my mechanic, who fixed the issue, which had to do with the exhaust, and they put in the estimate that I stated the car was running rough after the wreck. So, we take the car because now everyone has disappeared since it was 5:32 and they close at 5:30. Well, guess what.... 5 months later, and we NEVER got a call. We let Thanksgiving and Christmas pass, and our son's birthday. I shouldn't have done that, but I truly thought they would eventually call me. Nope. My husband and I went in to talk to them, and Wayne stated to just drop the car off because they couldn't order the parts without the vehicle.... Then WHY did you tell me to leave with it and that you would order the parts in the first place?! We went to pick my car back up yesterday after them having it over 2 weeks. The hood is still crooked, there is still a pinch in the fender. There are now chips in my hood that are down to the metal that I don't previously remember being there. The front chrome piece is still not sitting flat, the bumper is now 1/4 inch from the bottom of the headlight (which they did replace), and my chrome wheels are spotted from whatever they put on them. So, I'm still driving the POS loaner they gave me. I drive a Terrain, and they said the ONLY loaner they had available was a Chevy Trax. It's tiny, not close to comparable to my car, and they stated they will charge my insurance if so much as a scratch is on the car. I can't drive it 50 miles outside of Wichita Falls, and I'm only allowed so many miles. That's like 1980's style rental rules. I'm am beyond disgusted with Herb Easley, and they will NEVER get my service or anyone in my family's ever again. This place is a joke, and if my car isn't fixed properly this time, we'll be reporting them to anyone and everyone we can.
