WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!

I attended an appointment on March 5, 2017 at the Wedding Library with my sister to select a bridesmaid dress for her wedding on September 30, 2017. We selected a dress and I provided my credit card and billing information. The employee who measured me told me that I needed a size 6 even though my regular size is 0-2. I trusted the employee and she said that she would submit my order.

Fast forward to late May 2017 and I was curious as to when my dress would arrive. I called the Wedding Library and the employee tells me that she can't find my order. After being placed on hold for a long while, the employee takes me off hold and informs me that "she found my order and she didn't know why it had been submitted yet." I was shocked that WL had completely forgotten about my order. The employee went so far as to tell me that if I called back, no one would be able to find the order so to tell them to look in an orders bind. REALLY?? Finally, WL placed my order and I received a purchase order that included several errors.

I finally received the dress on August 4, 2017 and to my surprise the dress was MASSIVE and was told by a tailor that the necessary alterations could be over $200. I called WL to inquire about getting a smaller size and was transferred to multiple people, eventually speaking to a manager who said WL had no liability regarding the fit of the dress and the there was not enough time to order a new size before the wedding. The manager assured me that she would speak with the owner and would call me back by the next day. My sister, the bride, also called WL and received the same promise for a call back the following day. Two days later, I had heard nothing from WL, and wrote an email explaining WL's failure to place the order and the poor sizing. I finally received an email from the "manager" accidentally including an internal email chain between the employees and Claudia, the owner. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. The manager wrote a super short email response to me with typos stating that WL "only places orders to ensure delivery with time for alterations." WL took no responsibility for FORGETTING MY ORDER, FAILING TO TAKE ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS, OR APOLOGIZING FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Through no fault of my own, I am not forced to pay for expensive alterations!!! I STRONGLY encourage you to take your business elsewhere!!!!!
