Saw The House on Cold Hill last night. The actors did their best with the script which I can only describe as mediocre. Not at all scary, as the description stated but that was due to the way the story played out. We could not see the apparition of the 'ghost' and there was no scary atmosphere at all. There was a twist in the last 3 minutes, which I wasn't expecting, but that's about the only good bit about it. The seats weren't cheap and were a waste of good money. If you're thinking of going my advice would be 'don't bother - treat yourself to a good meal instead'.
A disappointed theatregoer.
