They bought this complex in Eugene several months ago. Everyone who has a lease renewal is having rent increase 350 - 450 per month. This puts the rent above brand new luxury apartments in Eugene, with 2 bed/2 bath at over $1500/month. These were built around 1992 and they are not updated. Affinity does not plan to update apts. The office, however, was remodeled and has custom marble or granite desktops. The apts have formica that has been painted many times, with cracked, opened seams. Carpet with holes not replaced. If you want new, you have to move out of your apt., pay new, higher deposit, and rent a different apt. You cannot wait and move back to your own apt. They removed over 200 trees and hundreds of healthy shrubs. We have a large dirt area with roots at our front door. They are letting the beautiful grass die, even though our water rates have doubled with our new leases. We have been hear for many years and are very sad to move. Would give zero stars if I could.
