My friend took me for a tea here for my birthday. ...

My friend took me for a tea here for my birthday. Whilst the tea was wonderful the service was not as great unfortunately. We got there and was showed to our seats but then were left with the menu for a long time. When the tea was served it was it was lovely and was told we could have limitless tea but they didnt come back to serve it! We had to get up and ask and in total had to get up three times to ask for various things. Also when they served the tea there was no sugar on the table either. Whilst the staff were very pleasent it would of been nice to see them a bit more! We felt they left us to our on devices. I think we expected a better service from somewhere like that and to top it all my friend realised only after we went she wasnt given her change! She had paid a service charge as well! A little disappointing but lovely cakes and sandwiches anyway!
