My experience with Proper Cloth, has been as follows, I first tried using the smart measurement, where you answer a questionnaire, the shirt didn't fit well at all. I sent photos to their customer support, and the next cut fit significantly better, however I have very square shoulders and my neck posture is far back, so these tweaks took a few tries. All in all I have gotten four shirts of the same size, and quality seems to be on point. The materials feel awesome so far. I would recommend going through this if you don't fit the off-the-rack size which I don't. I get a lot of compliments on my shirts in the office, which is unusual because fashion isn't really a big thing for folks where I work.
