We don't have our kitty yet, he is currently pending adoption as we are waiting on his rabies certificate. However, I would like to review NEAS in the meantime! My husband has been wanting a German Shepard for YEARS now and we've been less than successful in finding one. It seems that once we do before we can even get to it, someone takes it. However I think this is what was supposed to happen in order to lead us to our Bobby. I called the same day before heading over to the shelter to surprise my hubby. We were told the range of prices, how the process worked, what we would need to bring along, who we would need to bring along and the expected time we would be there depending on availability and us. So, I rounded the kids up with my husband and we drove over. We looked at the dogs rounding the rooms a few times and loving some of the guys there but not really finding anybody that was latching onto my husband. We decided to pull the card of this one sweet boy to meet with him and start the process of just finding out what would be best for us. We met with Donna and found out the the puppy we pulled wasn't so great with kids. She told us when they'd be getting more pups in and we were ready to leave, not so happy. My eldest son loves cats so we asked if we could just mosey around the cats for a bit. She said sure and if we found someone to just let her know. We looked around and found Bobby. Bobby had come in the same day and we just fell in love with this guy. We've gone back every day while waiting to see him so he could get used to us so when we do take him home, he won't be so scared. We are told tomorrow (Monday) will be the day we can take him! We are so excited. Thank you so much to Donna and Sharon and everyone at NEAS for bringing Bobby into our lives!
