Review of Rotana Hotels

We chose Rotana Yas Island to spend 5 days/4nights...

We chose Rotana Yas Island to spend 5 days/4nights to be our base to explore the nearby leisure facilities on Yas Island and to pay our first visit to the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Everything about this hotel ranges from average to below the average, except for the swimming pool; It was big, heated at night, and very clean. I really enjoyed it.
The worst part of the whole stay was the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. The toilet seat is awkwardly positioned next to a wall, making it almost impossible to use the toilet. I had to make acrobatic moves to sit. The sink was even worse. The nozzle of the tab is so long that you can't place your hand between it and the sink's drain. There is no space there. I had to use the shower most of the time.
The hotel's main restaurant, Choices, where the breakfast buffet is served is a bit tight, which makes it crowded and noisy specially during the high season. The hotel's staff is friendly and responsive though.
