Absolute money sucking frauds!! All of my roommate...

Absolute money sucking frauds!! All of my roommates and I (5 of us total) had to each pay a $30 application, which is $150 right off the bat. I don't even know why it's even that expensive to submit an application, but I think they could've at least given us a discount seeing as how we are students. The house we moved into was old and dirty and they clearly did not do any renovations or get anything cleaned during their "inspection" of the house. So many things are not working in the house, including the sprinkler system, garbage disposals, dryer, there are squeaky floorboards, etc. When we signed the contract we were told that everything was working in the house, but the first week I was living there, I tried to do my laundry and I found out the dryer was not working. So I submit a repair request and they never get back to us, so my roommate calls them and they tell us that the washer and dryer is our responsibility, not theirs. I would be totally fine with paying for a new dryer if my roommates and I broke it, but IT WAS ALREADY BROKEN TO BEGIN WITH. They told us it was working and totally lied to our faces when we signed the contract. The previous tenants (my friends) told them about the dryer the year before and they never did anything to fix it. They are lazy frauds who are just trying to suck money out of our pockets. They have terrible communication and I absolutely hate renting my house from them. Rent from a landlord directly- don't go through some annoying rental agency!
