I left 501 Salon a little disheartened today. Please understand that I loved the service. The receptionist was very welcoming and my stylist was kind.

I love the hair cut I got today but was disappointed in the styling. I have naturally curly hair and I know it's not always the easiest task to take on. When it came time to diffuse my hair, my stylist couldn't find a diffuser to fit her dryer. She ended up blow drying my hair with a regular attachment which left it mostly frizzy and flat in some areas. She used a curling iron to put some bounce in my hair because it definitely needed help after she lost the shape of the natural curl. I honestly don't understand why it was such a struggle.

As a client with curly hair, I left unhappy with the final style. Even though I liked the haircut, I should have left feeling totally satisfied but I did not. I should have said something before I left but my stylist was very sweet and I was ultimately happy with my haircut. It definitely was not worth the money I spent and I probably will not be back.
