I booked tickets a week after having what was suppose to be an easy surgery. I bought the cancellation insurance. This is suppose to cover ilness if you can't make the event. I was still in a brace and couldn't make the event. The company that the pavillion uses to insure cancellations wanted a Dr note verifying my circumstance. I provided that. Still they would not cover my loss because the surgery was done prior to booking. When the Dr tells you the recovery time is short you trust that it is. Not always the case. Why would I book an event that I would pay good money to see if I thought I could'nt go? What happens to the guy that gets the flu? You would incur the expense of Dr visit to get your money back. I'm guessing bad weather would mean closed roads. In that case the event would be cancelled. The pavillion got my money, so why should they care? Poor customer relations for sure. Don' buy the ticket coverage. Don't buy a ticket unless you know without a doubt you can make it.
